The Easy Sleep Portable Bassinet is a safe overnight or daytime sleeping space for newborns, and can also be used as a safe and clean space to put baby
down when out and about.
Updated in 2026 to comply with updated Consumer Good Safety Standards (Infant Sleep ProductsAmendment Safety Standard 2025 and EN71-3:2019+ A2:2024), the bassinet features high, sturdy sides and increased mesh through the side panels for additional safety.
Its lightweight but sturdy steel frame folds away into a super compact backpack for easy transport and storage. Its mesh sides run the entire way around
the bassinet, while the mattress is permeated with airflow holes, creating a 360° safe and breathable environment in which to sleep your baby.
Weighing only 2.2kg, the Portable Bassinet is lightweight and travel friendly. When open, the bassinet measures 49x80x30cm and when folded, it measures 49x50x8cm, making this the perfect travel companion that fits into overhead plane compartments with ease.
Also included is a detachable mosquito net to keep bugs, pets and prying siblings out while baby sleeps.
The Easy Sleep Bassinet is suitable from birth to 7kg or at the first signs of rolling, whichever comes first. To keep baby safe, the bassinet should only be used on low, flat surfaces.

The standards for AU have now changed for all Bassinets. In order to meet these requirements, we have changed the following on our Portable Bassinet.
Both sides of the bassinet have been raised to meet the required minimum height of 25cm, with the ergoPouch Portable Bassinet measuring 28cm.
An additional warning label has been placed inside the bassinet, positioned to remain clearly visible at all times during use. A warning label has also been added to the packaging for further visibility.
For enhanced safety, a small amount of additional pressure is required when securing the sides into place. You will hear a distinct “click” once the side is properly
Warnings
Use only the mattress provided with the product. Never add a pillow, comforter, loose blanket or another mattress for padding. To reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), paediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep.
Do not suspend strings over a bassinet, or attach strings to toys. Do not use if any parts are missing, damaged or broken. Periodically check product for loose, damaged or missing parts. Contact ergoPouch for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. Do no substitute parts.
This product is designed as a safe sleep area for a newborn infant until they start to roll. Discontinue use once baby shows signs of rolling, or has reached 7kg, whichever comes first. If a sheet is used on the mattress, use one specifically designed to fit the dimensions of the mattress. Do not lift the bassinet when a baby is inside it. Not to be used as a co-sleeper. Use only on flat, hard surfaces on the ground. Never leave a child unattended.
For correct and safe use of mosquito net, please ensure the net is attached securely to buttons located on the outside of the bassinet and fully extended over the outside frame. When the net is not in use, please detach completely from the bassinet and store separately. DO not place whole net or partial net (one side of the net) inside bassinet when net is not in use.

How To Use
Place the bassinet on a flat, smooth and hard surface. Push the ends out and downwards until the side lock mechanisms click into place. You should hear a 'click', but you can also check the mechanisms to see the silver ball is securely fitted inside the hole. 2. To sleep baby in the bassinet, ensure the mattress is secure to the velcro underneath it. Always put baby to sleep on their back. 3. To put the mosquito net on, fasten the snap buttons of the net onto each side of the bassinet correspondingly. Stretch the net over the ends of bassinet. Remove the same you put on. 4. To fold the bassinet, remove the net (if on) and simultaneously push the tabs on the lock mechanism outwards. This will release the silver ball. Pull the ends of the bassient up until the touch each other. You do not need to remove the mattress to do this. 5. Secure the folded halves using the toggle, and pack away in your carry bag for storage or transport.
